The German American Chambers of Commerce have four main offices located in Atlanta, Chicago, New York, and San Francisco as well as branches in Detroit, Houston, and Philadelphia. This includes also the representative of German Industry and Trade (RGIT).
With 2,500 members and an extensive national and international network, the GACCs offer a broad spectrum of activities and services. Other German American organizations and chapters are affiliated with the GACCs.
The GACC South is headquartered in Atlanta with a branch office in Houston. It serves the Southern US and also cooperates with five regional chapters and two affiliates.
The GACC Midwest covers the Midwest of the USA. In addition to offices in Chicago and Detroit, they are represented in four states by local chapters.
The GACC New York serves the Northeastern and Western states and has, besides its headquarters in New York, a branch office in Philadelphia.
The Representative of German Business for the Western United States (GACC West) is responsible for the Western United States.
The Representative of German Industry and Trade represents the interests of the German business community vis-à-vis the US administration and other organizations.
